@Marina

27 April 2006
The
wildly popular Japanese TV serial starring heart throb Takeshi
Kaneshiro and Hitomi Kuroki stirred up a bowling fever in
Singapore after it was shown on TCS8 last year. And bowling
fever had indeed hit APP with the Lifestyle Committee putting
together a bowling competition to pit the best bowlers against
one another. The battlefield was set at Marina South on
27th April 2006 at 8 pm.
Before
the competition began, all the teams and their supporters
filled their hungry tummies with a sumptuous dinner at Chong
Pang Steamboat Buffet. After the satisfying dinner, the
teams' morales were high and were raring to go.

To
increase the excitment and the stakes of the competition,
Varian Semiconductor was invited to join us and it fielded
a team against 3 teams from APP. The contestants in the
game were:

three individual scorers. After a close fight, the results
of the competition .....*Drum roll*:

Psss....Tittle
Tattle of the day:
The most unexpected dark horse was Rudy. He was humble about
his bowling skills before the competition, but yet blew
off the competition with an amazing 341 points for 2 games.
If only I had talent spotted him to join my team!!
